A lustrous glazed ceramic vase of an elegant form comprised of a flared lip surmounting a long and narrow neck that swells to curved shoulders and a generous body, decorated with a blooming rose relief motif, all embellished with golden yellow, moss green, caramel, and chocolate brown hues. The vessel is marked on the base with the Rookwood logo (a back-to-back "R" and "P" surrounded by flames), identifying shape number "811 C", and a "MLP" (Mary Luella Perkins) artist's mark.
