East Asia, Korea, Joseon period, ca. 17th century CE. A wonderful stoneware bottle presenting a flat, circular base, a tall body with two flattened sides, a sloped shoulder, a brief neck, and an annular rim. Boasting a rich shade of charcoal grey, the elegant vessel is adorned in a decorative grid-like pattern. The ancient bottle is accompanied by a lovely navy fabric covered box with a yellow silk interior lining. Size: 7" in diameter x 12" H (17.8 cm x 30.5 cm)
