Description:

Peru, Inca / Spanish Colonial period, ca. 17th to early 18th century CE. A pretty polychrome wooden kero (quero) ringed by hand-painted decorations of everyday life for the Inca. This includes depictions of houses, llamas and alpacas being used as beasts of burden, and people holding tools and weapons in traditional dress. Together they form a fascinating source for imagining this long-ago lifestyle. Size: 4.5" W x 4.55" H (11.4 cm x 11.6 cm)
