A gorgeous 35.8% gold ring inset with an ovoid carnelian intaglio featuring 2 of Greek mythology's most recognizable characters - Hercules (Greek Herakles) and Cerberus (Greek Kerberos), the three-headed canine guardian of the underworld. The intaglio features Hercules as he wrestles with the beast sans weapons - one of his labors was to subdue and not kill the creature so he could remove it from the underworld.
