A high quality 79% silver schilling coin, the obverse is Elizabeth's crowned bust facing left, with a legend surrounding. The reverse has a long cross fourchee through a shield, each quadrant with the Tudor coat of arms, and legend surrounding. The other coin is a sterling 96% silver sixpence, minted 1590 CE. Obverse with crowned Elizabeth head facing left with rose behind and legend surrounding. The reverse has the long cross fourchee and coat of arms surrounded by legend and date above. Size of sixpence: 0.98" Diameter (2.5 cm); silver quality: 96%; weight: 3 grams; schilling: 1.32" Diameter (3.4 cm); silver quality: 79%; weight: 6.1 grams
