Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Anamese (sometimes Annamese), ca. 15th century CE. A collection of blue on white porcelain from the Hoi An Hoard, all have stickers with numbers from the SAGA/VISAL project to recover porcelain pieces from this famous shipwreck. Each is a miniature / petite vessel; 3 lidded jars with flat top, a spherical lidded pot, globular vase, and 9 tiny vases. The "Hoi An Hoard" was found off the coast of central Vietnam in the South China Sea in the 1990s and excavated in 1999. When the ship went down, it was carrying a massive cargo of Vietnamese ceramics - over 250,000 unique pieces! Size of largest: 2.25" Diameter x 2" H (5.7 cm x 5.1 cm)
