Native American, Southern United States, Kentucky, Archaic to Woodland period, ca. 4000 BCE to 800 CE (6000 to 1200 BP). A collection of 15 hand-knapped stone projectile points from the southeastern part of North America. The points all exhibit a nice assortment of typology, and many have notched and stemmed blades. Some of the different forms include: Koens Crispin, Fulton Turkeytail, Cotaco Creek, Little Bear, Lowe, Robbins, Burkett, Limestone, Modesto, Scherschel, and Mcwhinney. Several are made from a matte chert stone with hues of tan, orange, gray, and pink. Size of largest point: 2.75" L x 1.25" W (7 cm x 3.2 cm); case: 10" L x .75" W x 12" H (25.4 cm x 1.9 cm x 30.5 cm)
