Description:

Western Europe, probably England, France, or Germany, late Medieval Period, ca. 14th to early 15th century CE. A forged-iron dagger bearing a lengthy, single-edged blade with a sharpened edge culminating in a pointed tip. The rectangular handle has a slightly flared butt end, three petite rivets, and a rectangular thumb rest protruding from the shoulder. Daggers like this were used as side weapons on the battlefield alongside the soldier's primary sword and shield. Size: 13.75" L (34.9 cm)
