Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Java, Majapahit, ca. 12th to 14th century CE. An attractive strand of 35 beautiful Indonesian glass beads, the majority of near-round forms and matte emerald green hues, two featuring abstract faces in white against a deep green ground (one translucent, one matte), and finally the largest central bead in green and of a lozenge form. Complementing these are four fluted round silver beads. All strung on an attractive twisted black cord. An exquisite piece of wearable art! Size: 33.25" L (84.5 cm); largest bead measures 1.375" L (3.5 cm)

  • Condition: Several glass beads with minor wear/scuffs commensurate with age. Chips to face beads, but imagery is still vivid. Silver beads show expected tarnish, a few dents, nicks, and scratches. All the above commensurate with age. Overall stunning and wearable.
