Description:

East Asia, Korea, Goryeo Dynasty, ca. 13th century CE. A hand-built pottery cup with lobed walls that imbue the vessel with a floral appearance. The cup rests on a squat foot and has thick walls that form the deep basin. The entire vessel is enrobed in turquoise-hued glaze and is further embellished with black and white pigment forming tall flowers bearing two blossoms each. Size: 3.4" W x 2.8" H (8.6 cm x 7.1 cm)
