Ancient Central Asia, India, Indo-Persian, Islamic period, ca. 12th to 13th century CE. A beautiful and substantial bracelet formed from high-quality (93%) silver with a circular profile, a spiral wire wrap around the top, and a central lenticular plate with swirling incised decorations. Eleven studded cuffs surround the exterior surfaces of the bangle, and petite geometric panels are laid atop the wire wrapping. A gorgeous example of wearable Islamic artistry!
