Near East, Iran, Nishapur region, ca. late 10th to early 13th century CE. A pottery bowl with thick, turquoise-hued glaze covering the pattern-molded basin interior. Within the basin are bands of abstract foliate forms, vertical fluting, and a central six-pointed star. Size: 5" L x 4.9" W x 2.5" H (12.7 cm x 12.4 cm x 6.4 cm)
