Description:

West Africa, Morocco, Cretaceous period, ca. 145.5 to 66 million years ago. A group of 10 fossilized teeth from the hooked tooth mako shark (Oxyrhina plana), each bearing hues of tan, slate, cream, beige, and caramel. Each tooth exhibits a forked root as well as a lustrous enamel that is either slightly curved or relatively straight in form. The edges along most enamels are still rather sharp, and a few still retain their original serrations! Size of largest: 1.68" W x 2.36" H (4.3 cm x 6 cm)
